National Custodial Workers Recognition Day

On National Custodial Workers Recognition Day, we celebrate our custodial team’s essential role in DSB1.

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Each year, September 30 recognizes the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is a day for Canadians to commemorate the history and legacy of the residential school system.

Rowan’s Law Day

Rowan’s Law Day is recognized each year on the last Wednesday in September in memory of 17-year-old Rowan Stringer, who passed away as the result of multiple concussions. Rowan’s Law Day, recognized provincially, brings awareness to concussions and concussion safety.
