SHMS Welding Students at Timmins High and Vocational School in the SHSM Welding class recently had the exciting opportunity to tour the underground operations at Lake Shore Gold’s Bell Creek site. Through this hands-on experience, students explored real-world mining processes and saw firsthand how skilled trades like welding play a vital role in safe and efficient operations.
